it is in the shape of a duck.
This fits nicely into the space inside the corner of my near the tearduct.
It seems to freeze the sinuses then spreads to rest of the right side of my face.
When I remove it, the sinuses on that side drain.
It usually takes a couple of applications and the blowing of my nose til I feel some relief.
A strong cup of (hot) coffee helps.
When I use ice-packs I like to place them under my bare feet as where the Eastern medicine believe control all parts of the body.
This works too.
My Bob knows when I ask for my duckie, I'm going away for awhile.
