Angela, I don't know you, but I do know your pain, or at least some flavor of it. I used to take great comfort in the words of Gibran: "your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding..." Now I realize that's a bunch of crap. Your pain is just that, it's PAIN, it's extreme. And if you suffer from that pain, you have even less reason than anyone else to waste one second of your precious life with anyone or anything that adds to that pain.
I don't even know your situation, just what I've inferred from these posts. I just get the feeling that you could use the following advice:
Put yourself first. Be selfish. If anyone doesn't understand you, RID YOURSELF OF THEM. If anyone steps on you, RID YOURSELF OF THEM. There are plenty of good people all over the place. They just don't scream it at the top of their lungs like bad people do. Take care of yourself.
