Bill-
I have insurance through my employer with Aetna-US Healthcare. I've only been with them 1 year and 1 cycle, but they didn't blink an eye at an initial script for 30 Imitrex tabs (~$375 of which they paid 80%) and two later refills of 9 tabs each. Went to a GP in their plan and paid $10 co-pay each visit. First time there, he also did blood work and urinalysis. Can't actually say they are 'CH-friendly', because I got through this cycle fairly cheaply, thanks to a generous supply of samples from the doc, but as I say, USHC didn't question anything that was submitted.

More recently (but non-CH) I busted a rib. Same doc took 5 x-rays, prescribed an NSAID and a rib belt. Again, ins. paid all except co-pay and my 20% on the meds except for the rib belt. Something about a separate deductable for 'medical devices'. They did 'pend' this claim initially because it appeared 'accident related'. I'm sure they wanted to make sure it shouldn't be covered by Workman's Comp. Once I filled in and mailed back a simple little form they went ahead and paid it.

All in all, about $1500 worth of medical services for the ch and the rib and I paid less than 200.
KTSSU,
T
(sorry about the divorce...I'm there too)
