Encouragement to all - Yesterday one year ago was the last time I had a measurable attack. I have been on and off Verapamil for a year now, and so far it has given me back my life. I still have shadows from time to time, but praise the Lord I haven't had anything above a 3 in a year. WOW, what a milestone, eight years of suffering, and now relief. I hope you all can celebrate with me, I had reservations about posting this. I didn't want to flaunt anything, but instead offer some hope to everyone, that someday you will find relief somehow.
I'm not kidding myself, I know the Verapamil could fail, it has for others, but for right now I'm living for the moment.
Pain free wishes for all, and to all of you thank you. Without this board I would never have discoverd what I have, and how to find a doctor that would listen, and try medications that you suggested.
