The doctors Mike has seen in the past have probably been equally as frustrated as he has been, them not having a clue how to interpret his symptoms, and we have not known enough about CH to put it all together for them.
I remember going with him once to a GP to see about the different sized pupils and you could actually see that it scared her! She had never seen anything like that before and immediately put him on a waiting list to get in to see a Neuro. However, that particular waiting list was 12 months long and, of course, the symptoms were gone and Mike was not in cycle by then.
I guess it didn't scare her enough to push him through the system faster though.
As yet another cluster season approaches and if our "natural" controls don't work, I would be interested to see the difference in the reception we get from a doc now that we know more.
