Hello everyone!
First I have to say Thankyou for all the wonderful replys to my post and the e-mail's that I have received. The support and words of wisdom have done wonders for my state of mind as well as my emotional state. It's not a cure as far as the physical part, but it's the best medicine I have had in a long time.
Several of you asked about medications I may be on, doctors....etc. I have been afflicted by these for 12 years now. I have tried most medications including Prednisone, Sansert, Imitrex, Arogtomiens (sp?), Inderal, Fiorinol, Depacote, and Lidocaine. I unfortunately haven't responded to most of them. The only thing that has given me any relief is Stadol for the pain. I also respond real well to a shot of demoral in the emergency room strong enough to knock me out. That, right now is my only recourse.
I very recently moved to Sacrmento, Ca. and have not as of yet found a doctor. I am looking though.
My life gets cosumed by these things when I'm in a cycle. I can do nothing without planning for a headache. I'm sure that is familiar to most of you. But I do know that they will come to an end eventually. I get very tired of it all sometimes and lose my "fight". It's still there however. The headaches are a dark place that I go a couple of times a year, but it could be worse and I could be chronic. I'm not as of yet thank God!
I am keeping a close eye on all of your posts(the eye that is not swollen, that is) and trying the new things that I see there. You not only provide support, but new and interesting ideas and therapy's. I wish I had found you guy's a long time ago.
