My name is Horn, Rupert P.
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, Richmond, CA.
I'm 49 and have been cursed w/cluster fucks, I mean headaches, for some 30+ years. Unfortunately I'm going thru a series at present. Having on the average 4-6 per night. And sometimes continueing throughout the day.
I just recently, like yesterday, found this site.
While reading the descriptions on the intro I felt as if someone was behind me with a video recorder during one of my bouts. Couldn't have described it better.
My headaches appear to be seasonal, twice yearly. Beginning of winter & end of spring lasting, on the average several weeks to a month or more. During that time I'm pretty much usless as a human being. I only found two things that have effectively dealt with my headaches. First was the ergotomine inhaler which they eventually discontinued and recently Imitrex. Prior to using Initrex I'd just suffer the pain.
To the best of my knowledge I'm the only one in my family who gets has them.
So until I have something of substance to add I'll just sit back and lurk awhile.
