I started taking serzone in July 1998 near the end of a CH episode. I am still on serzone today and have just finished my most recent episode of CHs. It never seemed to make the headaches worse and in fact during the last episode of headaches they came less frequently than they ever have. I have no idea if there is a connection with the drug but I do believe the medication has not made it worse.
I have suffered from depression for a long time and the serzone has helped me alot.
I sympathize with you and your husband. It's depressing enough to go through clusterheadahes for everyone but when you're already suffering from depression this can make a bad situation feel almost hopeless.
Keep using the website as a support, it does help alot to know you're not alone.
