I am chronic and currently taking neurontin with Celexa. This combo has given me many more pain free days than I ever dreamed possible. However, both can cause tiredness, fatigue, loss of energy, and weight gain. I gained 15 pounds the first month I was on Neurontin and another 15 pounds the second month on it. Plus have been very sleepy. My dr. just told me yesterday to taper off of the neurontin and see if over the next two months I can eliminate the side effects. If I can I know it is the neurontin causing it. Otherwise it is the Celexa. I had been on the celexa for a few months with no problem so we are inclinded to think it is the neurontin.
