Suzanne, my heart goes out for you and your husband. Please continue to support him. He's in hell with these headaches. I've hade them for 24 years. I know of no cure but they can be controlled somewhat. My last cycle was better than most by using Depakote and Amerge. Imitrex injections stopped every HA within 10 minutes. These medications worked for me but do not work for everyone. The point is that most people can find some kind of relief through various medications or using O2. Find a good Nurologest who has experience treating CH's and then find the medication that works best. Its not easy but this board has the most experienced CH sufferes and experience. Stay with us, unload when necessary, research the experiences of others, try everything until you find something effective. Remember though, they will go away, you will survive them, and were here to help you. Good luck.
