Hello! It's 12.15pm here in freezing England on Sunday December 5th 1999. Am feeling like I've just ten rounds with Mike Tyson - the right eye is throbbing, the nostrils blocked and the heads sore from all the banging and smacking over the last 12 hours of pain. Three attacks - 12.30am - 2.00am, 5.15am - 7.30am and another from 9.30am to now. Have swallowed so many pills, inserted suppositories till there's no more room and injected the leg that it has more holes than a pin cushion - and still the pain is there. It's 8 weeks now with just a few days of reprieve. And the last resort... To write it down and hope and pray that this works a neuro wonder that makes the brain think the pain has gone. What must we Cluster sufferers have done so bad in a past life to deserve all this? Still, there’s always tomorrow to look forward to..... Paul
