We all understand exactly what you are saying. When I am having an attack I can't believe that I will ever want to live again. I have to constantly remind myself that in just a half hour or so life will be grande again.
Follow Margi's advice about the ice and the water treatment definately!! Ice is the best thing for me. Watch your posture while you are driveing. Sometimes if I am sitting working or watching TV or driving I will feel one coming on and by sitting up very straight and pressing my head toward the ceiling I can sometimes ward it off. Same thing with sleeping. Sleep very straight. Don't let your neck twist or bend.
Also, I know you don't want to hear this one, but you should consider quitting the coffin nails. They are a definate trigger for me, not as bad as alcohol, bad posture, or oversleeping; but definately a problem.
wishing you painfree days
