After a conversation or two and reading my own Imitrex information that comes with my scrip, as well as re-reading a post from Doc Greg a while back (link provided)my implication about rebounds and Imitrex seems to be incorrect. Seems that I was wrong in my thoughts of Imitrex causing rebounds. My doctor's have drilled that thought into my head for years, but these are the same people who were giving me scrips of Imitrex and ergot at the same time without telling me not to mix them. I'll take Doc Greg et. al.'s word and the lack of being able to turn up anything on my own that they cause rebounds over theirs.
By the way, the info that comes with the meds says to watch out for shortness of breath. Hope you've told your doctor about that.
