I agree with you that the big amount of work you have done, and still do for OUCH might be too hard for you now, waiting the surgery recovery.
I agree with you that to see the death near as you HAVE SEEN (NOT SEE!) may change completely to Scale of "important things of life".
I agree with you that CH (and mostly after a surgery) are a terrible gift.
I agree with you when you wish OUCH all the success in the world. But .....
don't forget YOU have made OUCH! with your work, your compassion, your great character.
don't forget you can now "stay at the window" of the board, and continue helping to us all with your words.
don't forget you have made a lot of work, and the "vacations" are for all workers!
I only want to say that (with my terrible english):
You are in our hearts more than any other sufferer, and this is NOT due to the other problem (surgery) you have, but to your non-common way to live, loving, helping, supporting
any other sufferer.
Oh how lucky is your family, to have a great woman like you! You sweet "capatosta", are everytime in our hearts and thoughts, not for your exceptionally long list of pains, but for your exceptionally long list of qualities.
If now is time for you to take rest some weeks, some months, some years... do it! but do not ask "sorry for..." and do not say "I offer my 2 cents.." You have given millons dollars to us all, and still continue to give it!
I love you for what you have done for us all, for what you are, and for what you will do. God bless Claudette that gave me one picture of you, i write now with your eyes that watch me, and your smile that make a sunrise on the screen.... You are an Institution on CH board, you may leave the "direct work of secretary", but you CANNOT leave the job of "our sister".
