First of all THANKS for all of you who got more than a idle time to give me some alternatives with CH. As a chronic CH sufferer a could not put myself together in these last days to get back on this site. After being on the verge of a suicide attempt I got the imitrex shots back, it was said safe by my doctor after all. NARDIL is a really a pain in the ..... I cannot "drug" myself anymore with chocolate, caffeine,... to stay awake during the night and also there are so many precautions to take that it seems scary for a simple pill.
Answering some of you, I tried prednisone and did not do the trick; staying awake through the night was one of my options, but I cannot do it anymore since I've been exhausted and with no "drugs"(chocolates,...) allowed; O2 I will give a try since I've been in so many drugs and imitrex for more than eight months day after day that I'm afraid I'm jeopardizing my health and I will end up with something else besides CH.
I will stay on Nardil for at last 4 to 6 weeks waiting for it works .In the meantime my doctor wants to put me on I.V. treatment with histamine and also combine with magnesium. I will do whatever it takes to turn this headache off because I don't think I can take it for eight more months and still keep my sanity .
