I nearly always wake with both eyes very red, but
especially the left (my usual cluster side nowadays).
As we're often exploring the blood flow issue (and
verapamil is used to relieve hypertension) there has
to be some link.
Incidentally, as I've mentioned a couple of times
over the last eighteen months, I had a blood vessel
burst in the back of my left eye during an attack about
three years ago, leaving my vision impaired for
a long while (it's barely noticeable now). At the
time it was investigated, and I was assured that
there was no connection. However, I've never believed
that...
Any other similar stories?
