I used 4.2% lidocaine nasal spray during my last cluster. It may have numbed some of the pain in the sinus area but all in all, didn't really help. It does have to be made at the pharmacy. It's shelf life is something like 3 months so they don't stock it. Think it cost me about $20 a bottle. Had a metered spray pump on it.
