OK, like you say, sounds like the headache you had during the trip wasn't a CH. I understand whuy you wouldn't want to trip during a cluster because I used to feel the same way. In your case I don't think tripping during the cluster would do any good because you take so much LSD the rest of the time I am surprised you get CH episodes at all.
This is very interesting since in my case LSD/Psilocybin is 100% effective in preventing clusters. Since it doesn't work at all for you it can not be 100% effective on the population in general.
