Rose,

I have had clusters for 26 years. Had run the gauntlet of meds which worked and didn't depending on the episode. In my case, oxygen "helped" relieve the pain or was just a distraction for a moment. Anyway I found that web site (url included in original post) and the info on there seemed logical to me.

I always knew that the CH were related to seasonal change, but didn't know why. You have to extend your daylight hours to 11 1/2 hours of daylight. From Paul's experience and mine this must be done beginning in the AM. So you get up and get under the Duro-Test lights 11 to 12 hours before sunset. I just put the UV lamps in my lighting in the office (in home) and begin my day early. My last episode ended on May 13, 1997 and since using the lights haven't had a problem since.

The distributor I buy from is Wayne Frederickson at Taiowa Lighting 800 347-6170. He has just the lamps and light fixtures as well. Wayne has been more than fair in my dealings with him.

Like I said, you are on the right track keep it up.

Dick
