My husband was totally med free when he tried the water treatment (which could be why it worked so well for him). Please be very careful doing this treatment while you are on all those meds, especially the lithium. Please check with your doctor first and especially if you are considering stopping to take any of the drugs. It could be really dangerous to stop all of a sudden and the water consumption could interfere with their effectiveness.
Always a good idea to let doc know when you are starting any new treatment, even a "natural" one like water.
In answer to your other question, though, my husband drank an 8 ounce glass of water every half hour while awake, and then another one or two when he woke in the night.
If you read back in the archives, there is a post by Doctor Jerry back in November of 1998 that I believe was called "READ THIS Fellow Sufferers, We're Onto Something". I am pretty sure he mentions the water/lithium combination in there and how dangerous it can be.
