Well, I'm a female sufferer with low blood pressure.
In fact, I just came back from the nurse's office
at my company to get it checked. It's now 100/60.
The reason I was checking is I wanted to perhaps
take Verapamil. Years ago, I couldn't take
Verapamil because, due to my low blood pressure,
I would get very dizzy and almost faint. This is
a known effect of Verapamil for those with low
blood pressure. I never had the side effects you
mention: nausea and cold sweat. Have you looked
at a pharmacy printout of all the possible effects of
Verapamil? And Imitrex? Of course, the combo
could be doing something, too. Or a cumulative
effect of all the drugs in your body. I've found
that with Prednisone this last episode, I was
getting some effects I'd never experienced before.
It seems that anything can change at any time.
Which is very anxiety provoking.

Have you ever tried Prednisone as a preventive? The reason I ask
is that then you wouldn't be on 2 drugs that affect
your heart/vascular system.

Jackie
