Hi, my husband Paul has clusters and sometimes posts on this site. A couple of months ago I took my husband to the emergency room during a bad cluster and severe muscle spasms in his thighs. His blood pressure was very high due to the pain. By this time the cluster had eased but the Dr. gave him a sublingual Nitro to try to bring down the BP. Within 5 min. he was having the worst Cluster of his life. The Dr., the nurse and I all thought he might die right there in the emergency room. Now he has it in his medical records that he can never have Nitro!!!
