After 26 ch cycles in which drugs have merely ricocheted off the pain's titanium surface, I found a technique based on the homeopathic principle, "like cures like." Since the affected side feels pressurized, I apply pressure, as the principle suggests. I've dubbed the method, "digihemosqueegee." Starting with fingers at the eyebrow, and with as much force as can be mustered, I "squeegee" the blood toward the hairline. In doing so I've found a particular "sweet spot" which aborts the pain almost immediately. It's located, unexpectedly, at the top edge of the hollow of the temple. Once found, I maintain the pressure on that spot until the troll retreats to its cave. A word of caution: The "squeegee" pressure may cause additional, albeit momentary pain until you find your own "sweet spot." Good luck.
