I was reading an AOL screen this evening on 'Living Fit' which recited what is referred to by AOL as 'Sage Advice', from Susan Weed, who is described by AOL as "an herbalist and consultant to the National Institutes of Health Rosenthal Center for Alternative/Complementary Medicine at Columbia University in New York City and the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco."
Ms. Weed recommends "Saint-John's Wort tincture for muscle pain, viral infection, HEADACHE, fatigue, sciatica, shingles and neuralgia." (I will venture a guess that she had 'normal' headaches in mind when making those comments).
I am not an avid subscriber to alternative remedies, however, I will admit that Glucosamax (a natural product) has done wonders for my wife's arthritis.
Has anyone tried St. John's Wort tincture (for headaches)?
