I'm with you. I've been an on and off smoker for over 25 years, clusterer for over 20, and the on and off times show no correlation to cluster episodes. I made the alcohol connection right from the start, and there is NO question. Yeah, it would be better if we didn't smoke, but cluster relief just isn't a valid connection in my humble opinion. I also don't buy the stress connection. I have gone through 2 of the most stressful times of my life cluster free. Over a year of decreased stress, and then wham!

I have wondered if there isn't a connection (organic) between a possible predisposition to addiction (the high number of smokers) and the cluster condition. Just a thought, I have no medical wisdom to back it up.

Don't let him hang guilt on you.
