Glaxo Wellcome has entered into a global licensing agreement with a British firm to market a needle-free injection system. The press release gives no other information beyond saying that the device is the size of a pen.
Sumatriptan will be the first medication to be used with this new product and clinical trials are to be begin shortly.
Nothing mentioned about its appearance in the U.S. but something to watch for.
