Obviously, you've put a lot of time and effort into forming this hypothesis. It is well thought out and I commend you for it. I can't buy it though.
Becuse of the circadian rythem of the headaches, because of the dialation of the blood vessels, because vassoconstrictors end the headache, because of documented changes in the levels of serotonin/hormones/melotonin, I have to stick with the thought that something goes whacky with the chemical balance in our system. This causes the blood vessels to swell and put pressure on the nerves, causing the pain.
I would encourage you to further research your thought though. I'm not saying it's wrong and we should approach the cause of CH from all angles.
