seriously -
my old lab always responded at the earliest sign of a CH attack (mine not hers) & took up residence under the kitchen table, not to emerge until the attack passed
she died this summer aged 15 or 16
miss her very much, but not the attacks
we got a new dog the week after current cluster started (early Sept)
maybe all the long training walks & diversion have helped
VERY succesful in suppressing attacks this time
NOTHING strange about this at all
