I call because I'm lazy and because I care. Typing takes too long and I often am perceived incorrectly. Verapamil is also a first-line medication to prevent the number of Cluster Headaches that your husband is receiving each night. It's fairly harmless as long as your husband doesn't suffer from low blood pressure. Oxygen is a nifty little abortive that when breathed at 8-12 Liters per minute at the first signs of a headache MAY make the headache go away. Going to see a good Neurologist with printouts of stuff from this website should help your husband. Good Luck!!!
