If a woman has a baby that has a birth defect. It is a messed up geen or a bad sperm or egg that causes the defect.
This may be the only child that the woman may have that will have the defect. All other children will be normal.
So, who is to say the we just share a commen messed up geen.
Has it meen proved other wise?
