Hello, all. I just received email from a person who had this done in San Diego, CA. More info can be obtained from many hospitals near you who perform this procedure, or there are tons of info if you spend some time with search engines. Here is a copy of his email.

The procedure calls for burning a group of nerves in the "ganglion nerve pool". The nerves are located around the jaw on the side of the head that
the headaches are occurring. This is the same procedure that is used for treating people with severe facial ticks. The side effect is complete and
lasting numbing of the side of the head, including the eye, ear, etc. The procedure can be repeated - I have had it done 3 times over the last 6 years. The impact on my life from this surgery has been profound! I would highly recommend that anyone who suffers from the same type of pain, at the same frequency level call Dr. Tomas Waltz at Green Hospital in La Jolla, CA.

Immediately after the surgery, I did suffer a few auras, however, there was no pain, and the auras eventually ceased also!
