Cluster headaches...
I've suffered from episodic cluster headaches for 15 years now. Don't know what, where, why, when, or how I get them, I just know I do.
Triggers...
Through 15 years of experience with cluster headaches, I have never been able to figure out what starts my 'cycle'. I've given up trying to figure it out! Just like the hiccups, I know I'm going to get them again eventually, doesn't make any difference what I do, they're gonna happen anyway.
Through 15 years of experience with cluster headaches, I know of ONLY ONE THING that will trigger an attack for me (and ONLY when I'm in a cluster cycle)... ALCOHOL! Two or three sips and I'm gettin' a cluster headache within 10 minutes, GUARANTEED!! No questions asked!
Hidden agendas...
My "hidden agenda" for building this site and putting all of the work into it that I have in the past 18 months...
I want someone to be able to post a message about a 100% effective "cure" for cluster headaches someday just like I posted a 100% effective "cure" for hiccups (below). That's my dream.
We bitch, we fight, we encourage each other, we send hate mail, we bitch about who said what, when. When we figure out what, where, why, when and how, we have cluster headaches, let me know. Better yet, when we figure out something that works 100% of the time for every single cluster headache sufferer, post it on the board!
I have cluster headaches. Don't care why, don't care how, don't care what "triggers" them. Tell me how to get rid of them 100% of the time and let's all be one BIG happy family!
Until then, I guess we are stuck bitching, fighting, sending hate mail, but MOST IMPORTANTLY, encouraging each other.
