In Gary G's discussion group, we talked about triggers for clusters. The only thing I've noticed for starting a cluster (not an individual headache) is stress letdown. In college it was after finals. Around the holidays after the Xmas shopping and planning is out of the way, etc.
I just don't know if the hormones are the cause or if the hypothalamus is the culprit and causes the hormones to fluctuate. Does stress effect the function of the hypo?
