Actually I think your in the right area. There are physical differences in the hypothalamus between men and women which could play in the male/female ratio. The hypo controls the pituitary which controls hormone levels. I read of elevated hormone levels in CHers. I'm thinking estrogen as a preventative. Ladies have commented about no clusters while on the pill but getting HAs when they go off the pill. Women get CH more often in middle age than the men do (around menopause when estrogen levels fall).
Any guys willing to go on the pill? Which brings me back to Helga the German bar maid. She never had CH.
Think we need a head count of women with mustaches and guys with manboobs.
