Agreeing: I'm a little skeptical myself of the large # of women on CHMB - insisting they have CH;
(yes SOME women DO have CH, but even more women apparently just add it to there sequence of hyperchondria, or as it's now properly called in this case - cyberchondria)
I suspect many (NOT all) have other agendas, reasons, etc for playing along with us - I read almost all the posts VERY carefully, and there are a whole bunch that just don't ring true -
one of MY biggest "tipoffs" is that I find most veteran clusterheads don't indulge in the long drawn out poor-me poor-you parties that have been going on the last few months
the testoreone link IS there - some of the med info links refer to T content undergoing big variance during attack, but I don't think it's anywhere near clear whether it's cause, effect or side-effect

I've heard about the "relaxation trigger" before - I believe it's another one of those things that's in the "well, maybe" category - certainly my own cumulative case history is completely neutral re: stress/relaxation

I wouldn't woprry about whether anybody gets their back up about the suggestion there may be some people faking CH - who cares, it's not a frigging club - it's a disease, people either have it or they don't
I for one feel sorry for anybody whose life is so far in the crapper that they have to fake a disease to get people to pay attention to them
also - remember when we make a general observation like that - it's the ones who scream the loudest, as thought they were PERSONALLY singled out, that are usually the offenders anyway
