Everybody else:
if you get truly threatening harassing emails, this works very well:
1. hit the "forward" button with the offending email open
2. address it to:
postmaster@the sender's ISP
(not your email carrier)
example:
if the sender's email return address is:
< thejerk@zippy.net >
address the forwarded message to:
< postmaster@zippy.net >
be sure you leave the ENTIRE content, untouched, in the forwarded message, including all the address coding, etc
put "THREATENING EMAIL FROM YOUR SYSTEM"
in the subject line
OVER the forwarded message type:
"The following threatening message has been received from your email delivery system.
Please see that this is stopped immediately"
and run a separating line under it

That will usually stop the emails AND get the person thrown off the ISP
Don't do it if some jerk's just sent you one offensive note, that's what the delete button's for, just ignore them.
BUT if you receive actual threats OR continued harassing notes, this is worth doing & usually works
