There lately have been some post stating 'Sorry I just hit the submit button', or 'I wished there was an Oops button' or a 'Changed my mind button'. Well, at least for those of us condemned to use Windows, this is understandable: In Windows it's save to hit any button, because you are asked at least once or twice if you really want to execute the command.
So here my suggestion (and more work for DJ):
After hitting the submit button the page showing how your post will look like appears, as is does now. The new feature would be a pop-up window asking "Do you really want to submit this post? Yes/No". And after hitting yes, another pop-up window would say "Just think about it once again" and the yes button would become operative only after a one minute delay. To fool those who always just hit 'yes' without looking at the question the 'yes' and 'no' buttons could swap places at random.
If this were already operational, I'm not sure if I had submitted this post ;-)
