I started having my cluster headaches on March 8th of this year. This is my first bout with them. I take verapamil 810mg to prevent, and Imitrex pills when I get a CH.
I had been on the new dose of Verapamil about 2 weeks and then had no headaches for 9 glorious days. I actually thought they were ending. But 2 nights ago while in Iowa, my right eye starting watering so much had to take out my contact. My nose was running and had the dull ache in the right temple and ear and jaw line. But I still did not feel that it was a cluster as the pain did not get up on the kip scale. Was different. Yesterday just the dull ache and again today the ache in my ear, temple and jaw.
Can someone venture a guess as to what is going on?
Next appointment with neuro isn't til December.
Is it possible that I am stopping? Do you get these aches while in remission??
