I've been taking lithium 900 mg./day along with indocin.75mg/day for several years. It has helped to basically change my chronic CHs into episodic. I usually get 2 short cycles per year. The major side effect that I notice is hand tremors, especially after caffiene. Using lithium for so long has affected my thyroid, and I need daily meds for that. I'm not sure if my normal thyroid functioning will return when I go off the lithium, or not. Maybe that short-term memory loss isn't due to age and lack of paying attention to my wife, after all.
