I'm using Zomig now - 2.5 mg pills. I chew it up
good, then quaff it down with a lot of water to
get it working as fast as possible. Takes a minimum
of 20 minutes, but it works every time (at least
for the last 20 days....) Have not used Imitrex,
as this is only my second bout in 5 yrs. Am going
see my GP today in hopes of adding nasal
Lidocaine as a "quick kill" till the Zomig kicks
in provides relief. I figgered this would be an
excellent option since I had to see an ENT this
week for an unrelated problem - he used a spray
"*caine" to numb the nasal passage before
inserting the scope up my nose to view the
throat/vocal chords. Danged if it didn't _abort_
a session right on the verge of kicking off in his
office. Oh yeah....he was totally unreceptive to
discussing CH.....told me to see my GP or a neuro.
Sheesh......... :)
