I just got off the phone with the maker of Diflucan, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. I called to ask them if they had any information on Diflucan being used to treat clusters. Anyone wanna guess what their response was?
You guessed it. There are no studies, no research, no tests, no information whatsoever on treating clusters with Diflucan. As a matter of fact, the person that I talked to said that it was the first time they had ever heard anything about Diflucan and clusters.
I gave the folks at Pfizer the address to this message board so they could check into the talk about their product here. Maybe, just maybe, if they can do a little checking into Diflucan and cluster headaches, THEY can open some of the doctors eyes out there as to the benefits of their product and maybe "get the ball rolling" on some research. I'm probably asking too much huh?
Maybe something good will come of it anyway...we'll see... At least they are aware of it now.
