Hi,
I've been on diflucan since June '98 it is very safe and effective. It is not excreted by the liver; 80% is excreted by the kidneys. My doctor has treated over 6,000 cases and is a world expert on yeast infections. I have a hx of hepatitis and all my liver enzymes have been negative so far. He is using diflucan and sporanox together. They work differently in the body. Diflucan is absorbed by the blood and Sporanox by the skin and tissue. Sporanox is excreted by the liver but I have been on a low dose and also taking Liquid liver and Milk thistle from the health food store. Start reading and do your own research and you'll know more than most doctors in the country. Good luck!
