Back when the dipshit doctors were still telling me that my clusters were just allergic reactions, during an attack, my blood pressure would go sky-high, so high that I could even get the attention of emergency-room docs, who were afraid that I was going to have a stroke or a heart attack. During an episode, when I wasn’t actually having an attack, my BP was normal. However, since I’ve invited Verapamil into my life, even during an attack, my blood pressure rises higher than usual, but it still stays just in the upper end of the normal range. One emergency-room doc told me that intense pain will cause a rise in blood pressure. So, I guess that, since Vep reduces the pain and is also an anti-high blood pressure med, in any case, blood pressure doesn’t rise much.
