I'm a female cluster sufferer. I've been having
these headaches for 35 years. My cycle is
1 month of clusters every 2 years.
For the past four episodes, I've used Prednisone and
have avoided most of the bad pain of these headaches.
I've had virtually no side effects from the Prednisone.
This time, when my episode ended about 2 weeks ago, I've
had "shadows." I'm calling a shadow either
tingling or a mild to moderate throbbing in my head.
Sometimes I have this during the day, sometimes at
night when I would have had the cluster. Sometimes days
pass without these shadows. This is the first time
I've experienced this. Usually, after my episode tapers
down, it's totally gone, and I never get a headache till
the next episode.
Has anyone had a similar effect? If you have, are you
on Prednisone? I'm wondering if the Prednisone has
caused this.
I'd appreciate any comments. I HATE this.
