I think Ted's right -- Oxygen isn't the sort of med that causes rebounds, but it can be shorter acting than lots of the drugs we use. For example, if I use an Imitrex nasal spray I am pretty much guaranteed no more pain for at least 6 to 8 hours (for me anyway). With oxygen, though, I'll get one on the next due-time even if it's only a couple hours later. Some have also reported on this board that if they don't keep doing the oxygen for a few more minutes after the pain goes away that it will return promptly.
