One thing has always bothered me, As a child (preteen), and into my teen years, I received one cortisone injection each summer that the Dr. assured my Mother, would last 3 months, to get me through hay fever season...June, July, & August. I grew up on a farm, and was needed on the farm, so it prevented the reactions I got from being around all the pollen. As I got into my later teens, I had begun to outgrow it, so no longer bothered to get the shot. Within several years I started getting Clusters, which for the 1st 15 years, were ALWAYS in july and august. I asked my Dr. about this years ago, and he assured me there was no correlation, yet cortisone is known to help stop Clusters...at least one year, for me. I'm taking prednisone now too, and went all day yesterday without a headache, which was super, but can't help but wonder if cortisone injections aren't what started mine in the first place. I could haved lived with the hay fever!! It's all immaterial at this point, but I've thought about this for 20 years, just HAD to put it in print!
