I usually speak too fast and I did this time too. The ice pick headache applies to chronic paroxymal hemicrania not trigeminal neuralgia. My reading says cph always reacts to indomethacin (Indocin).
CPH is a headache which presents itself the same as cluster headache. They last 5 to 45 minutes and usually come numerous times a day (10-12 times). If anyone thinks they are getting CH 10 times a day for 20-30 minutes each, you may want to hit the doctor up for indocine and see if it's really CPH.
