I am new to this 'community' (see my initial post 10/7)
Consequently, I have been going through the site and absorbing as much as possible. I am finding myself wondering the same question while reading many posts. I hope each of you will answer:
Do you take medications constantly or just when episodes occur?
Many of you have described which meds that work/don't work/stop working for you. Several times I have been confused as to the "when" of the meds.
Personally, I am episodal, and do not take any meds between epsiodes. A few times I was not able to take meds for the first few days of an attack (that really sucked). I have mainly used Sansert, but during the last few years my neurologist had me try Verapamil (with mixed results). Also, during recovery from ACL surgery, I had an episode that my ACL pain meds helped manage.
I guess this sounds like mainly a question for epsisodic CH, but since I have only learned about those of you with chronic CH since finding this site, please respond also. Maybe we can add this info to Jack's Bio format.
