Hello all,
I am new to the board (as you might have guessed).I took the following idea from Jack Boyd. (Hope u don't mind Jack)
First bout at 22 years of age - episodic for the last 5 years.
Cycle approximately 6 weeks long. Had one cycle per year for the first three years. Two cycles per year for the last two years (currently in my second cycle for this year)
Treatments:
Prednisone -killed the cycle the first two tries, hasn't worked since.
Oxygen - works good if I can get to it in time.
verapamil - did nothing at first. Did some research and found out about upping the dose (doctor did not suggest). Has worked on the last two cycles! currently taking 90mg three times a day.
Imitrex - pills work if I can take them at the start of a CH. Nasal spray - works every time within 7 min.
Zomig - same as Imitrex pills
Otherwise good health.
