nt means No Text for any newbies (aka new babies). It's a shorthand that tells those with slower computers or less time that they needn't open the post, because there's no more info inside. The poster said all they had to say in the heading. This also saves bandwidth, which is what DJ pays for, out of his own pocket and with only donations from other CH'rs here, in order to maintain this site. Last I heard, the USAF doesn't exactly pay salaries on par with the hightech companies.
